Yaddo Artist Studios Saratoga Springs, NY

Phinney Design Group has worked with Yaddo to complete a comprehensive Facilities Master Plan, gather information about the condition of existing facilities, successfully build Yaddo’s first ever live-work studio for choreographers and performance artists, and establish thoughtful goals to increase capacity, artistic diversity and operational efficiency. Phinney Design has designed and provided construction management services on five new live-work studios that are available for year round use.

Built along the ridge that overlooks Yaddo’s restored ponds, these new studios move away from the noise of the highway and provide a constant state of renewal for the art and artists that Yaddo hosts. These new studios are an exhilarating and highly visible way of communicating Yaddo’s dedication to providing the highest quality environment for creative work.
