Phinney Design Group renovated 14 Talford Place with the intent to maintain its historic identity while achieving modern standards of efficiency. The 2-story building consists of 8,000 square feet, subdivided into three luxury condominiums. The objective of the project was to substantially upgrade the amenities and systems creating high-end unique condominium spaces, lending new life to the building, while complimenting its historic neighborhood.

Phinney Design Group sought to emphasize the home’s historic character and enhance the building’s aesthetic through the use of unique tile patterns, period lighting and fixtures, vintage wall coverings, marble revetment, detailed hand-carved ornamentation and arched ceilings and moldings. Phinney Design Group preserved the historic exterior and designed historically complimentary copper roofing.
